In working with the department of Immigration, Refugee and Canadian Citizenship (IRCC). We explored how international migration might change in the face of exponential growth in the realms of automation and artificial intelligence.
To understand the implications of of automation and artificial intelligence as it relates to citizenship, we scanned multiple media sources to identify weak signals, trends and drivers. We covered a range of topics—from technology to societal values to the environment–in order to derive a futures landscape with both breadth and depth.
