Nuit Blanche Edmonton is a non-profit society. Their Mission is to bring Edmontonians and contemporary art together to transform our urban spaces through an all-night, transitory public art event.
The identity reflects the many different strands of the creative community coming together to create something transformative. Expanding it further, the identity is meant to reflect how this one transformative night can bring a city together.
At the end it was 52,000 attendees, 31 contemporary art projects, 121 wish trees, 4,500 gold balloons, 7 bouncy castles, 4 dancing construction cranes, 5 uncooperative eleves, 9 hours, 1 night, 1 transformed city. I collaborated with my friend Christina Ienna in capturing the night in this video we created.
